Craft Day

Going 'green' is a way of life here in Kitgum, where resources are limited and people are amazingly creative at recycling. These faithful ladies joined me in my home today to begin our newest income generation project. We will be making purses, bags and bracelets from local materials to sell within Uganda and abroad.  Here the group make various sizes from burlap coffee-bean bags.  They turned out great!  The majority of the women in the group are also in discipleship training and have a heart to serve the Lord with their lives.  We hope this income can help free up their time to take the gospel to the lost and hurting!
