What? Why? How?

IMAGINE -- while learning to write, also learning how to walk with One Who loves her more than anyone. JESUS!

You may be wondering:

"Now, why are you back in the USA again?"
-------
"And why are you writing a new curriculum
when there are a bazillion choices already?"
-------
"And ... how is your mom by the way?"

I'd like to take this time to give you the answers!

See these precious children?
We have an amazing opportunity to reach them
and thousands like them,
with incredible good news,
everyday ... at school!

What's the good news?
That their Creator loves them;
that He sent His son to earth so they could know Him.
That His name is Jesus.
That His story is written down for us in a book called the Bible.

"Now, why are you back in the USA again?"
To spend focused time,
everyday,
writing Lesson Plans for this new Christ-Centered,
student-centered, integrated curriculum.
And spend precious time with my 86 year-old mother.

"And why are you writing a new curriculum
when there are a bazillion of them already?"
Well, what you may not know is that,
though there are many good curriculums out there,
there are none that are Christ-Centered, Culturally Appropriate (Uganda is not USA),
and coordinated with Uganda's Educational Requirements.

"And ... how is your mom by the way?"
My mom is ageing rapidly
and only God knows how much time she has left on this earth.
I cherish the opportunity to take this rare time with her.
(Just so you know, I didn't just travel all the way back to the USA on a whim.
I spent several months praying and seeking godly counsel about returning .)
The answer to these prayers and counsel:  "Do it!"

So ... I am. (I return to Uganda Jan 9)

Imagine, instead of going home to drinking parents and hunger, going to learned how to read, write and truly know God.

Please ... PRAY !
That every word of this curriculum is God inspired!
