Latodore Village Bible School

Each Sunday, we make the 2 hour journey northeast to Latodore Village for Sunday evening services.  Afterward, we spend the night in our newly constructed  huts.  Paul loves to cook and made us delicious chapattis over the fire before we all retired.
On Monday, we hold Bible School for the children and also a Women’s Fellowship group while Pastor Zane works with the men.  In addition, we are implementing a literacy program.
This week, we gave the children their first letter sound after the Bible teaching.  The time was so wonderful! None of the children who attend Monday are able to go to school and they were so happy to be able to learn. As they practiced writing A’s in the dirt they loved to show us their work and beamed at our praises.  It was really a special time!
We look forward to the weeks ahead as the women and children learn about their creator and how to read His Word.
