Another blessed time at Latodore Village. Sunday afternoon we travel to this village for evening services. Here we are in the worship time before the children are dismissed. That’s Eli with me. I’ve known him since he could barely walk. He is now a member of the McCourtney family and I am blessed to see his smiling face every day!
Once the service begins, we take the children away to Children’s Church. We are going through the Bible in a year with them through stories, songs, brightly colored pictures, games and dramas. You see them saying the opening prayer here … though some are ‘peeking’ instead of praying.
This lesson is then reinforced during Monday Bible School, when the stories come to life by acting them out. Below you see Balaam trying to force his donkey to go, not realizing an Angel with a blazing sword blocks the way. They really enjoy the time and do an amazing job learning!
We are in mango season right now … I hope it never ends … deeelicious. Here the children are squeezing (and sampling) mango juice. I might pass on this batch … laugh.
Hi Therese,
